Image MapAn image that contains more than one hyperlink on a Web page. Clicking different parts of the image links the user to other resources on another part of the Web page, a different Web page, or a file. Often, an image map, which can be a photograph, a drawing, or a composite of several different drawings or photographs, is used as a map to the resources that can be found on a particular Web site.
